What better way to celebrate the history of our waterfront that dining with the Harbor Springs Area Historical Society at Stafford's Pier, Friday, May 17, 2013.
Join us beginning at 6 pm for appetizers and entertainment from local musician Herb Glahn. Dinner will follow with special guest Carol Parker. This year's dinner menu created by Chef Britt includes salad and a choice of entrée: New York Strip Diane, Chicken Saltimboca and the always popular Broiled Whitefish. Be sure you leave room for dessert (chocolate mousse) and plenty of laughs, as Carol leads the audience in an interactive Michigan trivia game. This year's trivia will focus on Michigan maritime history and prizes will be awarded for our trivia game winners.
The historical society is also holding a 50/50 raffle and the winning ticket will be drawn at the event. Raffle tickets are $10 and may be purchased currently at the Harbor Springs History Museum. Tickets will also be on sale the night of the dinner. The drawing will be held at 8:00 pm.
The cost for H2O and History is $30 per person with a portion of the proceeds benefitting the Harbor Springs Area Historical Society. Reservations are requested in advance by contacting the Historical Society directly at (231) 526-9771.
