5/22/2013 12:01:00 AM Humane Society offers three low-cost spay/neuter clinics in May and June
Last year's rescue of 46 kittens by Little Traverse Bay Humane Society highlights how quickly a situation can spin out of control.
Last year alone, Little Traverse Bay Humane Society spayed 268 female cats preventing more than 64,000 kittens from being born. Because one female cat can produce up to 240 kittens over a five-year period, Little Traverse Bay Humane Society is offering three special low-cost spay/neuter clinics this summer for Emmet County residents on Wednesday May 29, June 5 and June 19. Female cats can be spayed for just $35 and male cats for $20.
