Bay Harbor will celebrate its 20th Anniversary with a weekend of festivities for property owners, visitors and local communities July 11 - 13.
The weekend will kick off on Friday, July 11 with a Merchant Mixer hosted by the Bay Harbor Village Merchants who will host interactive family fun festivities outside their stores including games, magic and more! The Jelly Rolls Blues Band will take the stage under the entertainment tent on the Village Lawn Panel beginning at 7pm - a local fan favorite, be sure to come down and enjoy the sounds of summer.
Saturday, July 12 the festivities continue including a Family Fun Zone beginning at noon with bounce houses, interactive games, airbrush tattoos and face painting, Michigan Stiltwalker balloon twisting, photo booths, strolling magic, tethered hot air balloon rides and reptiles from Raven Hill. Foodies include hot dogs, cotton candy, sno cones, ice cream and kettle corn. Fabulous entertainment throughout the day including the crowd pleasing Petoskey Steel Drum Band, The Earth Angels - a young song & dance group from Detroit singing songs from the 1950s and 1960s, interactive dueling pianos team and Simone Vitale Band - who will keep you dancing until 11pm. The Detroit Flyhouse Circus entertainers will be here with aerialists, illusionists and jugglers on Main Street, as well as The Live Statue who will be located in the Village and might just fool you! The epicurean event of the weekend will be The Taste of Northern Michigan from 6pm - 9pm, which will offer sample tastes of their signature dishes from many local area restaurants. Tickets will be $2/per taste and can be purchased at the door beginning at 5pm. Michigan wine and beer will also be available for sampling and purchase.
Sunday, July 13 concludes the weekend with Bay Harbor Church which will take place under the tent by the water on Marina Lawn Panel at 10:30am, followed by a Champagne Brunch at the new Seventeen restaurant in the Village at Bay Harbor.
