Anyone who has been in Harbor Springs for the Fourth of July knows the town almost overflows with people during parade time.

Council reviews possible changes at Eastern entrance to city including widening walks, park improvements and traffic island
What started as a plan to improve and widen sidewalks leading from the Little Traverse Wheelway into downtown Harbor Springs has evolved into a threefold goal: slow traffic on the state's M-119 highway as it heads into town, improve the park area that runs along the top of Ottawa Stadium (across from Bay Bluffs), and provide a safer way for pedestrians and cyclists to get to the waterfront.
