Maybelle Grimm, 90, of Harbor Springs, died March 8, 2017 at McLaren Northern Michigan Hospital in Petoskey.
May was born October 12, 1926 in Pontiac, Michigan, the daughter of Walter and Christina Ann (Gill) Watson. She grew up in Waterford, Michigan and graduated from Pontiac High School.
On March 15, 1948, she married Charles Grimm. Together, they had three children.
Charles preceded May in death.
May worked as a secretary for the Southfield Police Department for 20 years.
In 1989, May married Walt Eberline; they were happily married until Walt's death in 2006.
For the past 10 years, May has lived in Harbor Springs, Michigan. She enjoyed playing golf and watching her two favorite golfers, Tiger Woods and Tom Watson, on TV. She was an avid reader, and liked to play card games with friends.
May is survived by her children, Tim (Lynette) Grimm of Harbor Springs, MI., Susan (Tom) Tate of San Diego, CA., and Kathleen Omansiek of Troy, MI.; step children, Michael Eberline and Debbie Eberline; grandchildren, Jeff (Megan) Grimm, Brian Grimm, Anne (Jeremy) Efros, Joshua (Diana) Dion, Kelly (Roland) Camp, and Todd (Emily King) Omansiek; and great grandchildren, Matthew Grimm, Aurora Efros, Tristan Efros, Chloe Camp, Amara Dion, and Avery Omansiek.
May is preceded in death by her husbands, Charles Grimm and Walter Eberline; and her sister, Henrietta Estleman.
