Did you know that Wednesday, July 17 is National Baby Food Day? And what better start can you give your baby than fresh, local food from people you know and trust...like the downtown Harbor Springs Farmers Market! A bag of market goodies, a food processor and ice cube trays are all you need to make the meals your baby can eat to grow up healthy.
The weather has been saying "It's finally summer" to us all week and we know it makes market shopping a true pleasure. If you are coming to shop or coming to meet up with friends, we have what you need. Over thirty vendors, an umbrella topped "husband waiting table," cool water for our canine friends and when you're done, coffee shops and ice cream within easy walking distance. We have it all and we want you to be part of it!
Stop by the market tent this week and tell us what you would like to see at market that we don't yet have. We are always interested in your input and while we may not always be able to make it happen, we will always listen and do what we can.
(By the way...have you checked out Edible Main Street yet? We've seen juicy little cherry tomatoes, beautiful peas, lettuce and chard. There are several little patches of herbs just waiting for you to pick. Grab some as you browse our downtown!) The Harbor Springs Farmers Market is open on Main Street on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
