Dare we hope? It looks like the temperature is shooting for double digits this week! The Harbor Springs Winter Farmers Market continues through bone chilling cold, snow and wind (but not ice, sorry), but this week we celebrate going outside without our faces freezing the way our mothers always warned us about. Mr. Regentin has been so inundated with chefs, both home and professional, who understand the importance of a truly sharp knife, he will now be a regular on Saturdays at our winter home in the Harbor Springs Middle School from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. every week! And if you haven't checked out our photos on Facebook, go see how the kids are completely mesmerized by the process. Five Lakes Coffee battled through the UP drifts to rejoin us and Tenee will be back to do some relaxing massages. And as always (it goes without saying, right?) the fantastic fresh and local food will be yours to take home....there is NO better way to show your family just how much you love them than to fill their tummies with warm comfort food as we look toward the possibility of spring. Pasta, pancakes and syrup, crispy bacon, Sunday pot roast, scones before work and school, eggs however you like them, and sugar sweet winter carrots ~ fresh picked.
