The produce has arrived....and it brought flowers! Welcome to the downtown Harbor Springs summer farmers market with fall weather. We have our regular flower vendor back with some beautiful bouquets, joining Wildwood Gardens and Peri's Herbs, to brighten your home on these rainy unseasonal days. Kohlrabi, beets, onions, and the first hint of potatoes are here and ready to go home to your soup pot or grill. If you are a fish fan, remember to check our Facebook page for Paul Rossi's regular updates on which fish will be available each week. We saw some blueberries this week and it sounds like cherries may be making their debut this week, too. If you are enjoying our music every week you will be happy to hear that we are welcoming back Melissa Welke on Wednesday, July 16 and Craig Cottrill on Saturday, July 19. Grab a seat at the picnic table and tap your feet with the beat! This week our Sprouts will continue to monitor our worm composters, bring your kitchen scraps and be part of the even greener market. The Sprouts will also be planting their own flowers with Sara on Wednesday,July 16; come on down! Every day is a great day at the market (every Wednesday and Saturday from 9 a.m.-1p.m.) ~ remember, we're not the biggest market in Northern Michigan, just the best!
Meet you at the market, Cyndi Kramer, Market Master
